Life Updates

Hello wonderful people!

It’s been a minute! Life has been CRAZY busy and I got swallowed up in the rush for a while, but I’m happy to be writing one of these again.

Some of the crazier updates-

• I got married!

• I am almost done with my undergraduate degree.

• I decided that I wanted to do even more school, and will be attending graduate school at my top choice university in the next few months.

It is also wild to think that my time as an undergraduate is almost over. It’s been a good chance to reflect on the past few years. So much has happened, a little bit at a time, and I’m in awe of the things I’m able to do now when I felt so incapable just a few short years ago. I don’t know if my younger self would believe me if I were to go back in time and tell him about some of what I’ve been able to learn and build and do here. I am so grateful for the opportunity! 

There are certainly things that I haven’t done perfectly during my undergrad years, but such is life. I am grateful I get to take those lessons and reflections forward into my graduate program. It will be good to move and to be in a more diverse area again. I love Utah dearly, but I’ve been here long enough to start feeling stagnant. Fresh starts always feel like a good chance to rebase myself and start rebuilding new habits on stronger foundations. I look forward to the opportunity to shake off some moss and lichen while I explore a new environment.

With a little bit of extra time coming up between degrees, I hope to be able to get some more artwork and short stories up on here. I’m excited to have some calm between storms!
